Marisa has over 20 years of experience as a healthcare IT entrepreneur, consultant and business development leader.
In 2001, Marisa founded Health Tech Associates and worked for numerous organizations focused on building clinical technology platforms and HIE solutions. Before joining Artifact Health, she served as Vice President of Business Development for Salar, Inc.
Marisa conceived and designed a web-based reimbursement software system for Johns Hopkins Hospital, which was deployed in 2004, to facilitate the retrospective query process.
Prior to Health Tech Associates, Marisa helped launch one of the first online businesses focused on developing web applications for the pediatric and childcare industries.
Marisa is a graduate of Wesleyan University, earning a BA in Biology and the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, where she received an MBA.
Meir is a healthcare IT entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience in enterprise healthcare software design, development, and integration.
In 1999, Meir co-founded Salar, Inc., a provider of physician documentation and charge capture solutions to some of the nation’s top hospitals. Salar was acquired in 2011 by Transcend Services, a NASDAQ company.
Throughout his career, Meir has worked closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. He understands the environment they work in and the unique pressures they face. He is committed to building reliable, easy to use software that saves them time and allows them to focus on patient care.
Meir is a graduate of Cornell University College of Engineering with a BS in Computer Science.
Jake is an expert software developer, particularly as applied to provider facing healthcare applications.
Before joining Artifact Health, Jake held the position of Vice President of Product Development at Salar, Inc. where he managed the engineering team and was responsible for Salar’s product development and engineering support.
Jake is experienced and talented in creating software for providers and brings with him a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and physician query process.
Jake is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Math and Computer Science.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare technology industry. She has developed, led and executed marketing and sales strategies at multiple established and startup corporations.
Prior to joining Artifact, Jennifer was the Director of Marketing at Connance, a healthcare analytics and technology company where she established the marketing department and contributed to the company’s growth and success over ten years. Prior to Connance, Jennifer ran her own healthcare consulting business for 6 years, where she worked with multiple healthcare technology companies to launch marketing departments and implement technologies. Previously, as a healthcare management consultant at Beacon Partners, Jennifer worked with large hospital systems in operational improvement.
Jennifer earned her MPA in Health Policy and Management from New York University and her BA in Economics from Simmons College. Jennifer also has a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from William James College.
Eric has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently focused on leading client success management teams. Eric’s experience also includes healthcare business development, project management and clinical workflow software design.
Prior to joining Artifact Health, Eric served as Vice President of Implementation and Support at Salar, Inc. where he led the implementation, customer support and clinical documentation form design teams. He worked cross-functionally with hospitals, medical systems and physicians throughout the US in their implementation of Salar's clinical documentation and charge capture solutions.
Before joining Salar, Inc., Eric worked at AstraZeneca pharmaceuticals selling products in many therapeutic areas to hospital systems in the State of Maryland.
Eric earned his MS in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He also graduated from Loyola University Maryland where he obtained his MBA in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Joey is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience building scalable, performance-sensitive backend web applications for large enterprises.
Before becoming a member of the Artifact Health team, Joey was a software engineer at PayPal. During his time there, he worked on PayPal’s credit platform which handled millions of requests per day. Before PayPal, Joey worked as an application developer at UPS.
Joey is a passionate about designing efficient, scalable, and maintainable software systems.
Joey is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Computer Engineering and a minor in Project Management.
